I haven't written my book on closing skills yet. Still working on the "Secret Language of Prospects" book.

However, "sound bites" are a great closing technique. What I like about "sound bites" is that they can be used anywhere in the conversation. We can literally close prospects with a single "sound bite" in our opening sentences.

In our FortuneNow.com classes, we teach closing skills, and the lesson on "sound bites" is a favorite.

So, want a great example of a "sound bite" for opportunity? Simply include this sequence of words in your sentence:

"Dream-sucking vampire boss, taking little bits of our brain out every day, turning us into human zombies" ... :)

What happens in the mind of your prospect when this is said? A lot. Most prospects can see their boss, their frustration, and their need to fix that festering problem in their lives. A decision to have a better opportunity is made almost instantly in the brain.
